‘Healing is the return of the memory of wholeness.’ Deepak Chopra

Sam Andreadis, BaHons, RCST, MBACP (Accred.)

I am a BACP-accredited integrative somatic and psychotherapeutic therapist specialising in somatic and trauma-informed psychotherapy. My work brings together talking therapy and body-based approaches to support clients in understanding how their life experiences are held in our psychological, behavioural, emotional and nervous system patterning. This is dynamic depth therapy.

My therapeutic training began with a diploma in anatomy, pathology, and physiology, followed by a diploma in Craniosacral Therapy. I have been in private craniosacral practice since 2006 and moved into full-time practice as a psychotherapist in 2019, with training that placed particular emphasis on culture, identity, and intercultural awareness.

My psychotherapeutic experience includes work with a women’s domestic violence refuge and & Body&Soul – a charity supporting families effected by HIV. I have worked in NHS counselling services in a Brixton based GP practice, where I worked with a wide range of presentations including anxiety, depression, PTSD, sexual abuse, sex trafficking and complex trauma.

The integrated somatic psychotherapy approach combining psychodynamic and humanistic counselling with craniosacral therapy I offer, can be the standard 50-minute counselling sessions, but many clients choose 90-minute integrated sessions that combine talking & somatic therapy with CranioSacral Therapy. This approach supports both cognitive understanding and physiological regulation, allowing deeper exploration and repair within the therapeutic relationship that includes safe touch and co-regulation which can be fundamental in trauma recovery.

My ongoing professional development reflects a strong interest in neurodiversity, trauma, embodiment, and neuroscience. I have undertaken extensive CPD in areas including developmental and intergenerational trauma, polyvagal theory, neuroendocrinology, embodied mindfulness, microbiome and compassionate listening.

I also have a diploma in in Core Process Contemplative Group Work (a Buddhist approach to therapy), a certificate in Shamanic Psychology and a Post Graduate Certificate from Exeter University in Psychedelics: Mind Medicine and Culture: which informs my understanding of consciousness, philosophy and indigenous culture and spiritual beliefs; which influence a broader understanding of the field of biopsychosocial & spiritual healing, and the effects of social dislocation.

At the heart of my work is a belief that healing happens through safety, relationship, and reconnection with the body’s innate intelligence. I aim to offer a warm, thoughtful, and grounded therapeutic space where clients can explore their experiences at a pace that feels right for them.

I work with a broad base of clients and this includes ADHD & Autistic people & those with other Neurodiversities who often have correlated mental and physical health presentations.  I work not as a coach in these instances, but to understand life to that point, and the ways in which Neurodiversity has shaped life experience and sense of self of my (often late diagnosed) clients.

This is deep, dynamic and compassionate work leading to radical acceptance and authenticity.  And I’d love to meet you!

I am a Member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adheres the their ethical frameworks and commits to regular Continued Professional Development & Supervision.
