Our bodies are apt to be our autobiographies’ Gelett Burgess

“I am passionate about Craniosacral Therapy. It’s ability to connect you to yourself in both a physical, psychological and spiritual way could be described as a deep remembering of Self and Potential.

Which is why it integrates with Psychotherapy so well. To be able to connect deeply to one’s body is to be able to connect deeply to oneself. To be able to regulate at a physical level, is to be able to regulate at an emotional level.

Yes CST is excellent for healing at a physical level, but it is so much more. It helps the physical because it is healing at every level - even those you are not conscious of…yet”

As a Craniosacral Therapist, Sam supports her client’s physiological healing process with an precise, but also relational, approach which regulates the central nervous system and encourages optimal functioning throughout the body - integrating body and mind and promoting physical and emotional wellbeing.

CST can be used to spark your body’s natural healing capacity (it’s embryological blueprint for health) - so whether your goal is to soothe and balance a system that is stressed and over stimulated or exhausted and lacking in energy, to manage pain, function or state of mind, CST is holistically benefical.

This is achieved through the interrelated anatomical network of nervous system, bones, fascia, reciprocal membranes and fluids that allow Craniosacral Therapists to work with the ‘whole’ person with the lightest of touch.

In the initial consultation with Sam, you will agree what works for you and what might not, talk through any concerns and where possible, get a detailed picture of your life to understand the condition that brings you, from the fullest body, mind perspective.

Sam encourages regular reviews around the efficacy of the therapeutic process so that clients have total control over their own therapy.
